@BBCNews It’s great to hear such positive news almost ten years on since my youngest son was diagnosed with his right thalamic anaplastic astrocytoma. The brain tumour which took his life just five months later.

I’ve been searching this afternoon for an item from the drawbar of the tractor which was used as a hammer. I didn’t find it. I did however find a spanner as I was about to leave the field . It was just lying on top of the ground. Maybe it too had been used as a hammer!

@JustinWelby God spoke to me. He woke me from a completely sound sleep right beside my head with just one word “Celia!” Years earlier my dead son had shouted one word “Mam!” As though he was in the next room wanting me for something.
God gave us a fantastic show last night with the aurora.

Almost directly overhead as we arrived home from a birthday party at midnight. Three hours later and the sky is still putting on a lightshow.

@BBCNews A couple of years ago a mosquito bit me on my leg just above the knee when sitting on the toilet at home in Northumberland. I ended up with a massive sore red area the size of an A5 sheet of paper. When the infection went I was left with a patch of white skin at the bite site.
