CAN YOU RELATE?
In a form of good morning, five words or more, advice X users on this as it relates to their lives.
Because , a lot of people take their health for granted.
As the world marks World Sickle Cell Day, Nigerian-born sickle cell warrior Kesiena Ikeke has issued a passionate call to end stigma, rejection, and systemic neglect facing patients across West Africa.she noted that poor medical care and forced left her with physical scars.
GLOBAL CHALLENGES
The world faces interconnected crises today,
Climate change reshaping land, sea, and sky,
Poverty trapping millions in endless struggle,
While conflicts tear nations apart and divide.
Health risks loom large across every border,
I've been clamouring for our attention to these things,
Pandemics are testing systems built to protect,
Tech disruptions reshaping how we live and work,
Leaving old structures strained and unchecked.
In truth, these issues rarely stand alone in isolation,
One crisis often fuels another in turn,
Poverty deepens when climate disasters strike,
And conflict grows where resources burn.
Urgent global cooperation is the only path,
Just like in the ongoing world cup,
Nations must unite beyond borders and pride,
Shared solutions built on trust and action,
Can turn these crises into change worldwide.
Because on the pitch the world stays connected,
As Ronaldo and Messi carry nations on their backs,
While Brazil lean on Vini, Endrick, and Raphinha,
And Cunha, Almiron, Turkey, Scotland, Portugal chase their own cracks...
