@AnneCharmantier It seems to be a cultural thing; I do prefer a passive voice; but I often opt for a balanced mix of both (highly depends on origin of the journal as well)

Why has #HomewardBound had a focus on voyages to Antarctica? 🧵
Firstly, the journey to this remote and extreme landscape creates a dynamic environment where the leadership, peer coaching, problem solving and collaborative skills the HB program teaches are put to the test.
@Judy_Dunlop @Antarcticmoss I went to a conference where the poster presentation happened as a casual social event in the evening (you know, with beers) - it was so much less overwhelming for students and it got the discussion going much better.
