Getting closer to the PWHL Draft, and we continue to 🫡our senior/graduate Buckeyes who have declared for the draft. We are confident that they will begin the new chapter of their lives as professional athletes.

After Hilda Svensson scored THE penalty shot
given to THE Buckeyes during the October 18th game
against the Gophers last season. THE Buckeyes were awarded two penalty shots during the season, both taken by Svensson, and both resulting in goals.

Player of the Year
Buckeye Mira Jungåker was awarded Player of the Year in Swedish women’s ice hockey last week. The Player of the Year award is the top individual prize in Swedish women’s ice hockey and has been awarded since the 2003/2004 season.⬇️
⬆️The award is presented annually by the Ice Hockey Journalists’ Association in collaboration with the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. The jury had this to say about awarding Jungåker: “She plays with ‘swag’ — a cool style — and with a strong FU mentality: a willingness to⬇️
