It's time for our community to actively participate in how we grow. And we want to reward them as they do.
DAVINCI Quests is live.
Earn points for casting votes, creating governance processes, using our SDK and mini apps.
Here's everything you need to know 👇🏽
Before you integrate a governance system into your project, ask five questions.
Not about the UI. Not about the API docs.
About whether this infra will still work when your community actually depends on it.
We shipped a voting miniapp where millions can cast encrypted ballots, and nobody (not even us) can see who voted for what.
Here's the entire stack that made it possible, and why you can use it today. 👇🏽
DAVINCI was selected as a 2025 Solutions Development Grant recipient by @ETHForTheWorld to build "Ask the World", a miniapp for verifiable, privacy-preserving voting, powered by a @selfxyz integration.
A milestone-based grant supporting onchain solutions for the UN Sustainable Development Goals: backed by @gitcoin, @CeloPublicGoods, @ethereumfndn, and @maearthstudio.
The miniapp is now live, and none of it would have happened without this support. Democratic participation isn't just a crypto problem. It's a global coordination problem, and this grant recognised that early.

Our very own @jordipainan joins this stacked panel in 30 min to talk about the future of governance and digital voting.
Expect insights on open-source voting infrastructure as a public good. Tune in!
Going back to this. If you work on a protocol with some governance involved, I'm curious:
Do you have a formal threat model for your governance process?
Not the contracts, the governance itself.
Not judging. I just want to understand where the ecosystem is on this.
Thank you!
Governance is harder than DeFi.
In DeFi the threat model is clear: someone wants to steal your money.
In governance, the threat model is everything else, and almost nobody designs for it.
Governance bugs don't look like bugs.
They look like a community that stops showing up.
A vote nobody trusts.
A fork nobody saw coming.
That's what makes them dangerous.
Honest question for anyone building with a governance layer right now:
If your community challenged a vote result tomorrow, what would you point to?
A dashboard? Or a proof?

As one chapter pauses, another begins! @Celo has just announced the new Ambassadors for the upcoming season. 🌱
Here’s to the new phase of Celo’s journey and to everyone who continues to build a prosperous and inclusive economy with purpose. ✨
Yesterday we launched DAVINCI Ask the World miniapp: anonymous, identity-verified voting built by @davinci_vote, and identity provided by @selfxyz.
https://t.co/wTYHH7ZAYA
Today: let's talk about what you can actually do with it.
If you run a community, you already know: Discord reacts are noise, strawpolls are gameable, and nobody trusts the results.
That's over. 👇
Introducing Ask the World.
https://t.co/wTYHH7Z392
Anonymous voting with real-world identity verification.
No bots. No multi-wallets. Coercion-resistant.
Just real people making real decisions: verified by cryptography, not institutions.
Built by @davinci_vote, identity by @selfxyz. Live now 👇🏽
Online voting has a trust gap: platforms can claim accuracy, but communities can’t verify voter eligibility or detect tampering.
That’s why @davinci_vote is building verifiable, privacy-preserving voting at scale with Self for proof-of-human and identity verification.
This is what we've been working on at @davinci_vote.
Not just verifiable voting, that's a solved problem in academic cryptography.
We're building the combination: ballot secrecy AND verifiability AND censorship resistance AND decentralized infrastructure, as an open protocol anyone can build on.
That combination, in production, as public infrastructure, that's what's new.

Voter privacy starts before the first ballot is cast, it starts with how the encryption key is created.
Our team has been working on NI-DKG: a non-interactive, ZK-based approach to Distributed Key Generation that eliminates complaint rounds and makes the whole process publicly verifiable on-chain.

What if you knew your vote mattered?
In Bellpuig (2022), a controversial local decision was run using the auditable @Vocdoni system, instead of traditional methods.
The result? A massive 31.67% turnout.
People showed up because they trusted the system, which we built to be trustworthy.

Blockchains made voting auditable.
But auditable ≠ unfakeable.
So we asked a harder question: What if voting results weren’t trusted, but cryptographically forced to be correct?
That’s the shift from blockchain voting to cryptographic voting.
That’s why DAVINCI exists. ↓
