@Alexmcgeorge@CelticGossip A minority fan group. Fucking chase yourself. This is not a Green Brigade issue or anything like it.
And YES if you want to be fucking Celtic manager, yes you DO need to meet a certain moral standard and if you don't believe that you are an utter wanker.
People are - rightly - discussing Keane's decision to work for a club with ties to the Israeli regime. But not long ago I pointed out that his second choice of club is no less controversial. This guy is completely unfit to be at Celtic.

The Celtic Paradox. Day 1 of 5.
A global brand on a parochial income base.
@CelticFC It is the only Scottish club in the Brand Finance Football 50. Revenue up 136% in five years, to £143.6m. Profitable for four years running. £77.3m in the bank.
And it earns in a league where domestic TV is worth about 3% of the one directly south. That part is structural, and no board can fix it.
The Paradox is the rest: the parts a board does control run softer than clubs in the same or worse positions run theirs.
Today we set it out. Tomorrow, where the gap opens up.

@90MinuteCynic@CelticBlog2018 This is what happens when your board and chairman are dinosaurs they keep making the same mistakes time after time, and wonder why they become extinct.
The fact that the shortlist for the Celtic manager is Martin O’Neill or Robbie Keane in 2026 is a complete dereliction of duty from the board.
The club would be inundated with applications if it invited them.
It’s 6 months since Nancy was sacked. The Board are pathetic.
Even if he wasn't a genocide-supporting POS, the man came 2nd in a one horse race in Hungary. Fucking hell, do we not deserve better than this @CelticFC ??
Based on polls conducted across both Facebook and X, the majority of supporters who took part have made their feelings clear — they do not want Robbie Keane anywhere near Celtic Park as the club's next manager.
Of course, social media polls don't represent every Celtic supporter, but they do provide a snapshot of fan opinion, and right now that opinion appears overwhelmingly against the appointment.
The question is: will the Celtic board take notice of the supporters' concerns, or will Dermot Desmond ultimately make the decision he believes is best regardless of the reaction?
@20MinuteTims@CelticBlog2018 Celtic brand is global but the amateurs running it need to take a good hard look on themselves if MoN or Keane are the only candidates for the manager’s job
