Feel bad for Pacers fans. The Pacers played a great game and choked the finish. Then as fans you wake up the next day to hear these idiots on ESPN not give any credit to your team, and only talk about how the Celtics suck to let the game be close.
BREAKING: Jimmy Butlers plane makes an emergency landing on the way to Cancun. Apparently the plane ran out of fuel. When the maintenance crew was interviewed they stated they stopped fueling the plane because Butler gave them “a check that wouldn’t cash”
Since the Celtics became Jayson Tatum’s team in 2019-20, he’s had an All-NBA teammate 1x (JB) and a DPOY teammate 1x (Marcus).
Yet, all that’s on social media is he’s always had a “superteam”.
The Cs have had some good rosters, but the standards for Tatum are ridiculous.
In honor of Jayson Tatum playing his last game at 25 years old tomorrow, here is how he ranks amongst players before turning 26:
Regular Season Points (6th)
Regular Season Wins (5th)
Regular Season +/- (1st)
Playoff Points (2nd)
Playoff Wins (7th)
On track for greatness.
@jump_pierre@jack_cleary33@SillyWatch12@NBCSCeltics Stupid graphic.
Since Tatum has become an all-star (last 5 years) he has 2 All-Star teammates: JB and Kemba. JB also made all NBA.
Marcus won DPOY and he + Derrick made all defense.
Counting Kyrie + Horford all-stars/all-NBA from 2017 against Tatum not winning is hilarious.
We hold Tatum to the standards of greats like these, yet NBA analysts like @getnickwright@WindhorstESPN refuse to acknowledge him as top 5 player in the league.
Hold him to the standards of greats, then treat him as such.

‼️Jayson Tatum appreciation thread‼️
Been seeing a lot of people backlash Tatum for not winning a ring despite having “superteams” , so let’s actually look at this.
Jayson Tatum has been to the playoffs each of his first 6 seasons and has been the leading playoff scorer for 5.
So we established that it was fair to have expected Tatum to win a championship the last two years.
Had he had done so, he would’ve been just the 3rd player to win a Finals MVP at 25 or younger with no go-to teammates with a previous ring. The other two?
Tim Duncan and Kareem.
I see one more person on my feed argue about which Jay is better or more consistent or anything I’m gonna lose my mind. How about they both just show up and play 48 minutes of good basketball as a duo. Can’t they both be great?
Tatum will find his shot, every great player goes through rough patches. Horrible loss to Houston doesn’t ruin your season but these games are becoming a habit. Celtics need to find life somehow and I believe it genuinely comes down to Robert Williams being healthy.
Celtics needed to trade for another big man. 37 year old Al Horford being the only playable big down the stretch is a joke. Robert Williams needs to be healthy, no more excuses for him anymore - he is a HUGE part of why the Celtics are struggling recently.
