@phoenixnewtimes@ASU I’m so tired of nearly all the ads on X being pro-Republican ads. I really would not care at this point if all my ads were for some dumb product but it feels like I’ve practically subscribed to a Republican newsletter with all these ads @elonmusk@X#advertising#Twitter
I try my best to not interact with anything political on this account, but it seems as though nearly all the ads I’m getting are pro-right ads. I’ve never interacted with Ted Cruz or Jared Kushner but i keep getting ads about them and other right focused figures #politicalads

Context/Details:
New York.
Brandon Huckle, a Massena police officer, became the center of controversy in March 2021 when he was captured on video intentionally damaging a car while executing a search warrant.
This incident led to significant repercussions for Huckle, including his resignation from the Massena Police Department in early August 2021.
Legally, Huckle faced serious charges initially; he was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony. However, in a subsequent plea deal, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a lesser, non-criminal violation.
As part of his sentence, Huckle was ordered to pay a $250 fine and $554.69 in restitution to the owner of the damaged car.
Additionally, he received a one-year conditional discharge, which required him to stay out of legal trouble for a year or risk facing up to 15 days in jail.
Huckle's disciplinary history with the Massena Police Department reveals a pattern of misconduct predating the 2021 car damage incident.
In 2016, he was penalized for hosting two individuals involved in a 2013 drug sweep, dubbed Operation Problem Child. This penalty involved the forfeiture of a day and a half of vacation.
Another notable incident in his record was his admission of forcing a naked woman out of his home onto the street, for which he seemingly faced no punishment.
Furthermore, Huckle was suspended in 2019, but the details and records from this suspension were not disclosed, as no disciplinary charges were filed.
Despite the negative attention brought on by Huckle's actions, Massena Mayor Timothy Ahlfeld expressed unwavering confidence in the professionalism of the Massena Police Department. He emphasized that the issues with one suspended officer do not reflect the department as a whole.
