@squarednation_ Its based on the intro from 007: tomorrow mever dies, where bond gets in a harrier jet and blasts everyone in a circle.
This being in arkham is more of a coincidence, or itself based on the same sequence
007 First Light is here! Time to see how the graphics have been updated from "Hitman: World of Assassination" in this weeks "Direct Comparison"

@EmersonAck74431@Flakfire Its the maps. That stuff is meaningless to most players. I get those are issues, but a vast majority if players are not bored with the game because Gun (X) has 93 velocity instead of 91
The ultimate result is a franchise that is steadily bleeding real fans that will never return after feeling theyve been lied to repeatedly about some new game being a "return to form"
This applies to ALL games btw.. not anything in particular
Sure, but also - why are games being built for those types of gamers anyway? The ones that the data shows stick around with incentives like skins, limited time modes, events.. are the same players that immedietly jump ship to the next flash-in-the-pan multiplayer shooter..
Controversial take for players.
It is fairly well known within FPS studios that statistically new maps do NOT bring back old players or attract new ones. I have seen a lot of data to support this.
Players believe it is a huge draw, but the reality is that rewarding players time is more important.
Battlefield, a franchise I love.. has failed to answer the question โwhy am I playing this gameโ for a decade now.
Meanwhile, the actual longterm players that, no, are NOT the majority - are stuck with the same 9-12maps for a year straight, in a franchise where map releases were paramount to maintaining interest.
That data isnt helping, its just pushing publishers into a dead end
I think ive fully desensitized myself... cause resident evil stopped being scary a long time ago.
Maybe its from seeing people callously posting real death on social media for the past 10 years....
@Glennithin It was a fine remake. Its missing thre clock tower, but that part is also incredibly short anyway. You run down one path, grab a puzzle piece, run into nemesis and run back the other.
Its a shame it wasnt included, but its NOT the worst part of that remake. The city design is..
Totally agreed. Resident evil 3 remake jill was awesome. And the game is also awesome btw.. i still like the original more, but re3remake is not a bad game in the slightest.
Just goes to show how many bangers Capcom has been releasing lately.
Then of course there's the hybrid 1st person vs 3rd person camera that would work great, especially considering the ORIGINAL design of re1 was intended to be first person.
Yes. It could use another remake. That doesnt take away from how awesome the original remake is. But that original remake does not fit with the newer generation of RE Remakes, both terms of gameplay and graphical style.
