@AttackingThird @pcattry No -- let us go back to 4-2-3-1; Nighswonger - Girma - Dahlkemper (or Tierna) - Fox; Coffey - Horan; Rose - Shaw - Rodman; Smith ...safe and sound and still lethal
@tayvincent6 While - on surface - these comments sound OK, isn't it actually even more disrespect to Coffey and justification of their WWC choices of (Sullivan/Sonnett)? Hasn't MVP nominee earned the right to start/play with starters (and not limited minutes when games become meaningless)?
@K4TJ1@JeffKassouf@EqualizerSoccer The problem seems to be that US audience thinks that this is the ideal role of a productive 6 (single or double). Kilgore also described it as such post-match. I respectfully disagree. In a possession based system, it is MUCH more than that.
@Infinityforu@ianbremmer Ahem..MIT has M + W soccer, in addition to excellent track and other programs. Womenβs soccer team was NEWMAC champs for a few years in a row and went deeper into the D3-NCAA tournament. Students work VERY hard to survive athletics + academics @MITengineers#rolltech
