ఫస్ట్ హాఫ్ కాస్త అటు ఇటుగా స్టార్ట్ అయినా... ప్రీ-ఇంటర్వెల్ దగ్గర నుండి మన గ్లోబల్ స్టార్ రామ్ చరణ్ ఊచకోత మొదలైంది! మెగా ఫ్యాన్స్‌కి, మాస్ ఆడియన్స్‌కి థియేటర్లలో పూనకాలే.

కథ & కథనం ఎలా ఉందంటే...
సినిమా స్టార్టింగ్ 20 నిమిషాలు కొంచెం స్లోగా సాగుతుంది. "ఏంటి అప్పుడే లాగ్ స్టార్ట్ అయింది?" అనుకునే లోపే, డైరెక్టర్ బుచ్చిబాబు సన గేర్ మార్చాడు. ముఖ్యంగా ప్రీ-ఇంటర్వెల్, ఇంటర్వెల్ బ్లాక్స్ మాత్రం నెక్స్ట్ లెవెల్! థియేటర్లు దద్దరిల్లిపోవడం ఖాయం. అక్కడ మొదలైన ఊపు సెకండ్ హాఫ్‌లో ఒక గంట పాటు నాన్-స్టాప్ ఎంటర్‌టైన్‌మెంట్‌తో దూసుకుపోతుంది. అయితే, సెకండ్ హాఫ్ మిడిల్‌లో కథ కాస్త నెమ్మదించినట్లు అనిపించినా, ఓవరాల్‌గా మాత్రం ఎక్కడా బోర్ కొట్టించదు.

ఎవరెలా చేశారు?
రామ్ చరణ్ (Mega Power Star): చరణ్ వన్-మ్యాన్ షో అంతే! తన స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్, యాక్టింగ్, మాస్ స్వాగ్‌తో సినిమాని ఒంటిచేత్తో లాక్కొచ్చాడు. రీసెంట్ టైమ్స్‌లో చరణ్ బెస్ట్ పర్ఫార్మెన్స్ ఇదే అని చెప్పొచ్చు. ఫ్యాన్స్‌కి కంటినిండా నచ్చేలా కనిపించాడు.
హీరోయిన్ ట్రాక్: సినిమాకి ఇదొక్కటే పెద్ద స్పీడ్ బ్రేకర్. హీరోయిన్ సీన్స్ వచ్చినప్పుడల్లా కథకి బ్రేకులు పడినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది. కాస్త ట్రిమ్ చేసి ఉంటే బాగుండేది.
దర్శకత్వం (బుచ్చిబాబు సన): 'ఉప్పెన' లాంటి లవ్ స్టోరీ తర్వాత తన రెండో సినిమాకే ఇంత పెద్ద కమర్షియల్ సబ్జెక్ట్‌ని హ్యాండిల్ చేయడం మామూలు విషయం కాదు. బుచ్చిబాబు మేకింగ్‌లో మెచ్యూరిటీ కనిపించింది. ఒకవేళ ఈ సినిమాని ఆయన గురువు సుకుమార్ తీసుంటే ఇంకే రేంజ్‌లో ఉండేదో అనే చిన్న థాట్ వస్తుంది కానీ, బుచ్చిబాబు మాత్రం డైరెక్టర్‌గా వందకు వంద మార్కులు కొట్టేశాడు.
టెక్నికల్ టీమ్ వర్క్:
A.R. రెహమాన్ (సంగీతం): పాటలు, బ్యాక్‌గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ బాగున్నాయి, కాదనలేం. కానీ మనకి రెహమాన్ సర్ నుండి వచ్చే ఆ 'మ్యాజిక్', వినగానే గూస్‌బంప్స్ వచ్చే ఆ ఎక్స్‌-ఫ్యాక్టర్ ఎందుకో కొంచెం మిస్ అయినట్లు అనిపించింది. ఉన్నంతలో సినిమాని బాగానే ఎలివేట్ చేశారు.
సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ & ప్రొడక్షన్ వాల్యూస్: విజువల్స్ మాత్రం అదిరిపోయాయి! రిచ్ ప్రొడక్షన్ వాల్యూస్, టాప్-నోచ్ కెమెరా వర్క్ సినిమాకి పెద్ద ప్లస్ పాయింట్. స్క్రీన్ మీద ప్రతి ఫ్రేమ్ చాలా గ్రాండ్‌గా కనిపిస్తుంది.

చాలా రోజుల తర్వాత తెలుగు సినిమాకి ఒక పక్కా కమర్షియల్, లార్జ్-స్కేల్ విజువల్ ఫీస్ట్ దొరికింది. మెగా ఫ్యాన్స్‌కి ఇది పండగే, మాస్ సినిమాలను ఇష్టపడే వారికి ఒక మంచి థియేట్రికల్ ఎక్స్‌పీరియన్స్. ఇంకెందుకు ఆలస్యం... టికెట్లు బుక్ చేస్కోండి, థియేటర్లలో బొమ్మ పడిపోద్ది! Go enjoy the show!

Peddi Review ⭐⭐⭐✨ (3.25/5)

Peddi starts on an average note but gradually picks up momentum and becomes an engaging mass entertainer. The pre-interval and interval sequences are well executed, and from that point onward, the next hour is a complete treat for Ram Charan fans and Mega fans.

The film does have a few drawbacks. The first 20 minutes of the first half feel slow, and there is another patch in the middle of the second half where the narrative loses some pace. However, Ram Charan carries the film brilliantly with his screen presence and performance.

Director Buchi Babu Sana deserves appreciation. Considering this is only his second film, he has delivered a solid commercial entertainer and showcased impressive growth as a filmmaker. While the film may have reached another level under a veteran director like Sukumar, Buchi Babu still excels and delivers a commendable product.

A.R. Rahman’s music is good, but the trademark “Rahman magic” or that extra X-factor which usually creates tremendous hype feels slightly missing here. The songs and background score work well, but they don’t quite reach the legendary standards associated with his name.

The cinematography is top-notch and visually stunning. The photography and technical departments elevate the film, making it a rich visual experience. Most of the crafts contribute effectively to the film’s overall appeal.

One noticeable drawback is the heroine’s track. Some of those scenes act as speed breakers and interrupt the film’s momentum.

Overall, Peddi is a decent watch and an enjoyable theatrical experience. Ram Charan delivers one of his best performances in recent times, and fans are likely to be thrilled with what he brings to the screen.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐¼ / 5

Telugu cinema finally gets a big-screen visual spectacle packed with commercial elements, fan moments, and solid entertainment. If you’re a Ram Charan fan or enjoy large-scale mass entertainers, this one is worth watching on the big screen.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this video since I watched it a few hours ago. The innocent face of that little boy is haunting me. He looked so pure, so helpless. I simply cannot understand how anyone could be so cruel as to torture a child.

I am heartbroken, angry, and lost for words. This is beyond inhuman—it is unimaginable. The government and justice system must act swiftly and ensure the harshest possible punishment for those responsible. Such heinous crimes deserve zero mercy.

May this case become a strong warning to anyone who would ever think of committing such atrocities in the future. My prayers are with the innocent child. His face will stay with me for a very long time. 💔

Tragic incident from God’s own country

Here is a 2-week-old video of 1-and-a-half-year-old Arshad with both hands fractured. In the video, his mother Akhila lies, claiming he broke his hands by falling off a bicycle.

Tragically, little Arshad passed away 2 days ago at the hospital.

Arshad’s biological father, Akhil, died by suicide when Akhila was 3 months pregnant. Afterward, Akhila moved in with her boyfriend, Ashkar. It seems his stepfather, Askhar, was torturing the toddler for a long time while his mother silently watched.

The doctor’s report revealed:
• 51 distinct injuries across his small body.
• Severe trauma and injuries inflicted on his genitals.
• Cigarette burn marks covering his legs.
• Internal bleeding and older fractures from continuous physical abuse.
