Three-day training of the Field Trainers (FT) for the HLO phase of Census 2027 started today in 26 districts of Assam in the 1st Phase. Remaining districts will be covered in the next phase wef 29 June,2026. A glimpse of the 1st day training is as follows.

Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan filled out the self-enumeration form online for Census 2027, at Uprashtrapati Bhavan today.

Census 2027, undertaken in alignment with the Government’s Digital India initiative, leverages extensive digital technologies to enhance the quality, efficiency, and timeliness of data collection and dissemination.

The Vice President encouraged all residents to participate in the self-enumeration process and submit their household details online during the period notified by their respective State/UT through the official web portal: https://t.co/pXVToyYq0E

The Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India, Shri Mritunjay Kumar Narayan, was present during the enumeration procedure.
