We are honored to donate $1000 to Blue Star Mothers - Miami Valley Chapter #3. This donation will help send Christmas stockings to troops who will be away from home during the holidays.
Blue Star Mothers is sending 677 stockings to Iraq, Afghanistan, and ships in the Pacific.

We recently awarded $1000 to Building Bridges to distribute Thanksgiving meals, winter coat vouchers and Christmas gifts to disadvantaged youth.
Building Bridges, Inc. strives to act as a "safety net" for at-risk youth that are involved in the Montgomery County Juvenile Court.

Yesterday, the Centerville Noon Optimist Club placed 2965 flags throughout Centerville/Washington Township in honor of Veterans Day.

At last night's Installation and Awards ceremony, Beth Duncan (last year's recipient) presented the Optimist of the Year Award to a deserving honoree, Mike Brubaker.
Tonight, we installed the 2021 officers, including our new president, Debe Dockins, via Zoom. Congratulations to Debe, and thank you to our 2020 president, Greg Griffin, for great leadership during a challenging year. We are looking forward to the great things in store for 2021!
After very careful deliberation, and much sadness, Centerville Noon Optimist decided recently to cancel our Tom Frazier Tee Off for Youth Golf Event for 2020. We'll be back with next year's event, July 12, 2021!
Looking back through past tweets, I see in 2016 we were very excited to display 1400 flags. In 2020, we have already surpassed last year's number of 2400! The streets of Centerville will look great for flag holidays this year!
