🎄The #NewHaven Christmas tree arrived on the New Haven Green today and it’s a beauty! 🎄

This 50’ Norwegian Spruce was donated by Kelly Drapeau & her family who decorated it every year in front of their house until it got too tall for them to put the lights on any longer. 1/

Now, thanks to the Drapeau family’s generosity, it will bring holiday cheer to the entire city this year!

New Haven's Center Church on the Green is one of the best examples of a New England copy of James Gibbs' neoclassical masterpiece in London (and ironically was built during the War of 1812 when Connecticut was literally under assault by British forces)
