CDPC is researching the Paswik plant, a natural pesticide that controls saktuto (thin worms) in rice, and documenting farmers’ experiences using it.

CDPC enlisted PIGAS members from Sagada to train Sitio Bakwit residents in Allaguia, Pinukpuk, Kalinga on muscovado sugar making. With a sugarcane press provided by CDPC, the community can now produce its own sugar using locally grown cane.
