Time spent hearing from the men and women who served our country is time well spent. Grateful for the chance to sit down with some of our veterans in Portsmouth this afternoon.
Op-Ed by Mike Curtin:
"The challenge for Statehouse leaders today, considering proposals for constitutional change to put before Ohio voters, is to understand and honor that heritage, not debase it for short-term partisan advantage."

This is truly one of the best political speeches of our modern age. An insightful roadmap for public leaders. I highly recommend taking a few minutes, without distraction, to listen deeply to the wisdom of JFK. @JFKLibrary@SteveSchmidtSES
Lawsuit says new law “will severely restrict Ohioans’ access to the polls—particularly those voters who are young, elderly & Black, as well as those serving in the military & others living abroad” & “imposes needless & discriminatory burdens on Ohioans’ fundamental right to vote”
About an hour after Gov Mike DeWine signs bill requiring voters to show photo ID and cutting time for military voters et al to return mail ballots, Dem lawyer @marceelias files federal court challenge for various Ohio groups to stop it

When you spend your career introducing extreme and harmful laws like #RightToWork instead of working to find solutions to help Ohioans, this is the outcome. We hope for a more united legislature that will work together to fund public schools, pass fair maps and more to help Ohio.
While @GOP Steve Chabot spent his final days in Congress blaming gerrymandering by his own party for his loss to @GregLandsman, @TimRyan spent his final days delivering for Pike County, not in his District. Thanks for being a leader, Tim!

Can the average Ohioan defy a judge’s order for over a year, fund a candidate and dark-money campaign for the next election and if their judicial candidate wins, retry the case to see if they can get a new outcome? Seems like @ohiogop likes different rules for career politicians.
"There isn’t a single state (other than Ohio) where a substantive court order has been ignored in redistricting," said Yurij Rudensky, senior counsel in the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program.

Up until his last day in Congress, @TimRyan never stopped putting #WorkersFirst. Including standin up for Hoover retirees. Thanks for always being in the fight to protect our dignity of work, Tim and @SenSherrodBrown

This story talks about hopping from rental home to rental home skipping out on back rent each time. So, where did the $700K he loaned his campaign come from if he can't afford rent? This isn't a candidate "padding his resume." It's federal crimes. https://t.co/6r2uAiL15h
