This morning at 8am hours after the storm passed a tree fell damaging a home on Planchet Rd. Luckily the two occupants inside were not injured. A gas leak occurred from the damaged lines and the gas service was turned off.
Care was transferred to East Baton Rouge Parish Emergency Medical Services and transported to a local hospital. Thanks to Baton Rouge Fire Department for assisting, brining a Whaly boat.
We responded to Blackwater Conservation area this morning just before 7am. Reportedly two people were swimming in a pond when one began to struggle and was pulled to the island. We placed a boat in the pond to rescue an unresponsive individual on the island bank.

While you were going to bed just before 9:30 PM. CFD was responding to a structure fire in the 6500 block of Morgan Road. When the first engine arrived, they found a large shop behind a residence on fire.
