It is with our heaviest and saddest hearts that we pass along that one of our original CJFD members, a former assistant chief and longtime Portage Firefighter and resident, Ron Amos has passed away. Our hearts are heavy.

Crews spent another snowy afternoon at the 177 milepost of I75. As E783 arrived, the vehicle was on its side and was winched back to its upright position. Crews stopped the fuel leak as well.
