OMG GUYS????
ITS REALLY HAPPENING!!
Paving stones are going back down around the lamppost on Colmore Row!! These paving stones were replaced with tarmac back in Feb 2025. So glad we finally have a result 😁
Now just 2 other large patches to go.
So apparently, Villa have too much revenue to fairly compete for the Europa League but not enough to fairly compete for the Premier League or Champions League. Does anyone know what we are allowed to win? Is the League Cup acceptable? Or is our advantage over Stoke too offensive?
🇮🇹 There is an amateur Italian football team based just outside Genoa - in Voltri, Liguria to be precise - called Aston Birra (the Italian word for beer)!
They have recreated the Aston Villa badge with the lion holding a beer and even wear claret and blue shirts like their English namesakes!
@brianpiehouse The building the Crown is in has recently changed hands. Fingers crossed the new buyers have better plans for it.
As to the Pitman, shocked no start here yet. Perhaps they're waiting for Pepe's and that mobile accessory shop to bugger off?
This is a complete mess. From the officers and councillors running the show to the opposition making political capital from something that wasn’t real. A full investigation is needed and the council should immediately suspend any further property sales.

Eh? But not one event in Birmingham, West Midlands, East Midlands, Warwickshire…why is this @bbcintroducing ? A genuine question not a ranty one, just disappointed our region & artists miss out again
@bbcintroducing@Northsideprido So three cities in the North West but none in the entirety of the Midlands? Do you see why the Midlanders are so peed off with the lack of BBC investment here?
This weekend saw global phenomena ELO at the Utilitia, Black Sabbath at Villa Park and Duran Duran performing ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’ with Sabrina Carpenter at Hyde Park.
A lack of one ‘Birmingham sound’ could be explained by the diversity of brilliance emanating from the city.
