In a country where Hepatitis B remains a significant public health challenge, vaccination is one of the smartest investments you can make in your health.
You can get this for free at the Federal Government Hospitals. Vaccinate yourself and protect your kidneys ✌🏽
Are you stuck searching for a desired job?
Just a quick reminder: You do not need to be an expert to get the job.
Over the years, I have heard from many individuals who feel stuck because they cannot find a job in their field of study, or they believe they are confined to their current job because they lack skills in another field.
Some others even think they are limited to jobs that directly match what they studied or did before. But just as you do not need to understand a car engine to drive, you are not bound to a single job type – it is time to explore a variety of opportunities.
First, you need to reaffirm that the steering wheel of your life is firmly in your hands, regardless of your initial academic pursuits or job history. With that in mind, below are some strategies to help you secure your desired roles without feeling like you are constantly on the back foot:
📍 Get Transferable Skills: You need to place high importance on transferrable skills from your current or past roles that can be applied to the job you're eyeing. Showcase adaptability and versatility by itemizing the transferrable skills for the desired role, and educate yourself on the other skills required.
📍 Networking: I have gotten several job opportunities via professional network, just through recommendation. I have also personally recommended over 200 people for various jobs with more than 80% success. Networking with professionals in your desired field can be a game changer for you. Attend seminars, webinars, or industry events. Personal connections can often open doors that traditional applications might not.
📍 Continuous Learning: Upskill yourself. Take courses, attend workshops, or pursue certifications that align with the job requirements. Demonstrating a commitment to learning can be a significant advantage.
📍 Tailored Applications: Customize your resume and cover letter for each application. Highlight experiences and skills that are most relevant to the specific role. Don't just apply randomly. I see a lot of people do that.
📍 Seek Feedback: If you face rejections, don't hesitate to ask for feedback. Constructive criticism can guide your future applications and interviews, making you perform better in other oppotunities.
Keep in mind, each career path has its own twists and turns. So, despite all the strategies mentioned above, there might still be a need for you to seek divine guidance and pray. Ultimately, seize the opportunities presented to you, harness your skills, have faith in your vision, and I am sure with determination and a well-thought-out approach, you can achieve it.
Best wishes on your career endeavors this week!
This morning I watched a YouTube video and Bishop Oyedepo said something that stopped me mid-scroll.
He talked about a land his church needed. They found the perfect one, went to negotiate, but the money wasn't complete.
He asked the seller if 30% could work with the rest paid in installments.
The seller said no.
Amazing….love how ICAN is creating global pathways for their members
If you are an accountant and yet to start your ICAN, you better wake up from your sleep
Under FIFA Solidarity Mechanism, Yohanna's local club in Nigeria, Ikon Allah, is entitled to a certain percentage (5%) of the transfer fee.
Using a transfer fee of £21.5 million, the FIFA solidarity contribution would be:
5% of £21.5m = £1.075 million available for all training clubs combined.
If Ikon Allah trained Zadok Yohanna from ages 12–18, its entitlement would be:
Ages 12–15: 4 years × 0.25% = 1.0%
Ages 16–18: 3 years × 0.50% = 1.5%
Total = 2.5% of the transfer fee
Calculation:
2.5% × £21,500,000
= £537,500
Therefore, the Ikon Allah would be entitled to approximately £537,500 in FIFA solidarity payments.
At an exchange rate of about ₦2,100–₦2,200 per pound, this would be roughly ₦1.13 billion–₦1.18 billion.

Rice has taken 16 free kicks since he scored against Real Madrid and not scored.
He took 12 before that game and never scored.
His had 23 assists in 8 years in the Premier League.
The overhype for this player who runs around a lot and gesticulates for the cameras is staggering.
@Oludeewon@vickdexplorer@Nathaunique48 lol!
I’m just saying there’s a restriction on the kind of jobs you can do as an international student in Russia, especially if you’re not in the big cities. Their country, their rules!
@Oludeewon@vickdexplorer@Nathaunique48 It’s not even about taking over the big jobs. They prefer those that can speak the Russian language fluently and also give preference to Russians and others from the former Soviet Union!
@vickdexplorer@Oludeewon@Nathaunique48 It is for those interested. For me, I just got my degree, did some freelance jobs on Fiverr and went back to Nigeria after my program. However, it was a nice experience! Course taught in English and I had free Russian classes as well.
As a team lead, invest time in building your team’s expertise. By not developing them, you’re setting yourself up for a loss. You’ll spend twice as much time reviewing what you could have trained them on and achieve the best results the first time.
