AI isn't the answer for everything.

I pulled AI out of CertPulseAI's most impressive feature.

And it got better!!

The original version was a great demo.

Upload a training certificate or a webinar email, and ask the model, does this count toward my certification renewal?

AI read the document and said yes or no, with a paragraph of reasoning.

People loved it. I loved it.

But what if you submit the same document twice and get two different answers?

For a chatbot, that is fine. For compliance, it is fatal.

In an audit, the "why" can be more important than the actual answer, and "the model is fairly confident" is not a trustworthy defense.

So I moved the line.

AI no longer decides whether something counts. It reads the messy document and describes what the activity actually was about, which is the part it is genuinely excellent at.

Whether it qualifies is then answered by good 'ol deterministic checks, against requirements that were written down long before you uploaded the evidence.

Same input? Same answer, every time.

And because the model's job got much smaller, it got noticeably better at it.
