@CPATaxTeam@realmitchlittle Well that blows. I know Texas is organized to resist re-assessments. Other states don’t do it as often so they often rubber stamp when you have comps- easy way to reduce property tax. And great lead in for tax planning when you offer to clients and prospects!

@andreamacdcpa The law doesn’t allow for calling something- it either was or wasn’t when examining the past. Plain and simple it was not a loan and it was not payroll. Consider what the government will ask for- payroll records (none), loan instrument (none), interest (none), payments (none).
