Honestly, that’s a massive opening for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. A $144M second domestic weekend and the third-biggest second weekend ever, its shows that the audience interest isn’t just hype from opening night, it’s holding strong.

What stands out to me most is the staying power. Spider-Man is clearly still one of those characters people will show up for regardless of the era . If the movie continues performing like this internationally, it could end up being one of the biggest Spider-Man releases.

And seeing these numbers this early makes the debate around the movie even more interesting.
