@GearHangout@guriyamagurizou I also kinda attributed it as an in-universe advancement; the Kodiak and KC were both top-end Gears during the Interpolar war, while Gear Striders only started showing up with Peace River and NuCoal. There's enough time between that actuators would become more advanced
@GearHangout@guriyamagurizou It's weird, because a few of the Frames do too. Utility-wise, definitely better than regular human-style hands because now you have thumbs on each end and grip strength/posture is equal on each side.
But you look at Peace River and NuCoal, and even the Scimitar...they don't.
@TsundereSupreme@joniniplo But it was run by Amuro as its head, wasn't it? The point for Londo Bell was to operate against Zeon Remnants while doing LESS harm to colonies. They cared, up until Unicorn where they've massively dipped in quality due to the losses and corruption.
@mobiusu14 Nothing more insane than declaring yourself the physical embodiment of your corporation and everything and everyone else are only useful pawns until they aren't.
@ksm_ngr@_Kyou I've been around long enough to roughly know the size bands for giantess content, heh. Artists outside of boorus tend to use it, even if it's not a tag.
@007Yosemite@NathanJRobinson He also killed a program designed to stop the spread of screwworms, which we had eradicated in the US.
The sterile fly program?
Yeah, now screwworms are back and if you think beef is expensive now...
@Lachzilla123@ritterine Even if you cut straight across and flat with side cutters, the jaw ends up leaving a pinched edge that's still very sharp. It worsens if you cut it at an angle, but if someone forgot to PIGTAIL THE STUPID SAFETY, then all that goes out the window.
@TheJungleMan0z@mike_doscher@Okabe_Rintar0IF Actually, the TKB-022pm was considered very successful. It was merely too complicated, a step below the G11, for feasible mass adoption. Plus, bakelite as a base wasn't particularly strong and this was before the discovery of better plastic manufacturing iirc.
@lkj0987654321@RealOdysseas Tell him it's for God and country, the savages are coming, and hype him up with "warrior ethos" and that young man will burn down as many villages as you want.
