The past three days have been a transformative experience for the @NCA_SSD middle management staff. This training, focused on workflow management has not only equipped our staff with essential skills but has also imparted the knowledge and abilities necessary to compete effectively at a regional and global level, particularly in light of the upcoming EACO General Assembly which South Sudan is set to host for the first time.

I extend my sincere gratitude to Berberi’s Academy for Training and Learning(BATL) for their invaluable contribution to our organisation’s growth. Their commitment to excellence has enabled us to elevate our capabilities and strengthen our institutional culture.

As we conclude this year, let’s all commit to working collaboratively and to being more mindful about what we share online, ensuring that our digital footprint leaves a positive impact.

Yesterday, we laid our father Sultan Mel Kuol Akol to rest.

He was a true leader, a fighter, and a pillar of our community. From joining Anyanya in 1964 and fighting until the 1972 Peace Agreement, to rejoining the struggle with the SPLA/M in 1983, Sultan dedicated his life to the cause of #SouthSudan.

He gave everything he had - even enlisting his own children and contributing food and cattle to support those in the bush.

And as a chief in Aweil East County, he championed peace, unity, and community empowerment.

Our father instilled in me the values of hard work, perseverance, and patriotism. Everything I am, and all I will become, I owe to him.

Rest in peace, Baba.
