Do that with extremely needed deps that might be left unmaintained; for all others just don't update to the latest right away, but also don't stay behind in major versions that becomes a nightmare to update.
Or just switch to a platform without so many supply-chain attacks.
And let's not even talk about how to justify that madness to the managers up the chain or even the final client... "Yeah, we need to maintain all this code that we stripped from the dependencies because I want to keep the code super tight from external manipulation".
One thing is the owner coming with this decision having already accepted the cost, a whole different is convincing a lot of non-tech people of the overbloated costs.
Mas alla de que en varias de esas zonas nuevas les interese o no tener Metro ya mismo, de todas maneras hay lineas que llegan hasta las zonas vecinas: estación Valdecarros de la linea 1 está al fondo del Ensanche de Vallecas y a nada de la zona de Valdecarros, y por debajo de Los Berrocales pasa directamente la linea 9, entre estaciones existentes como Puerta de Arganda y Rivas Urbanizaciones...
Hay que ser tonto para creer que zonas nuevas donde apenas hay gente ahora, van a estar ya construyendo nuevas LINEAS de Metro y Cercanías y encima desconocer u omitir las ya existentes y mas cercanas...

Not quite sure. If you give them a good reference, yes. If you give them the crappy legacy code those mediocre developers coded, then no. And the agents tend to mimic what's already done in the existing code, so 💀
