How many times have you told yourself, I’ll do it when I’m ready?
You have an idea for a business but keep waiting for the “perfect conditions”.You want to switch careers but tell yourself, “Next year will be better”. You have feelings for someone but wait for the “right moment” to tell them. And so the days turn into weeks, then into months. The months into years. And before you know it, you’re looking back at a lifetime of things you never did.
The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we need more time. That we need to be fully prepared. That the stars must align before we take the first step. But the truth is, the stars rarely align. Perfection is an illusion. Clarity doesn’t come before action—it comes through action.
Growth happens when we step into uncertainty, when we make mistakes, when we learn as we go. The “right time” is a moving target, always just out of reach. If you keep waiting for it, you’ll wake up one day and realize it never came.
Whatever you’ve been postponing, start now. Life isn’t waiting for you to be ready.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but reminder that, when you avoid difficult conversations, you are trading short term discomfort for long term dysfunction.
