-The vibe I bring to the function-
Song: "Nightfall" - from the 1999 game Shenmue published by SEGA for the Dreamcast
Couldn't sleep, so I made this cute little edit of my two nighttime projects. I was inspired by the nightfall transitions from Shenmue.
It's my first every edit, so I hope yall like it!
I hope to make more of these for all my current and future maps!
(Decided to redo this post because I hated the way I initially formated it, lmao)
I don't really make reference pieces, but this was one I did recently for character colors. Maybe one day in the future I'll make a better reference set where the anatomy and line art doesn't suck monkey butt.
Something I was working on before the "terrible awful". A remake of mu_aughts, expect its way more accurate to upper-middle-class life in the late 2000s. Set during the summer of 2009 in a mid sized McMansion built in the late 1990s.
- Father probably works in real-estate or in accounting.
- Mother either stays at home or works a cushy office job (runs the HOA or PTA like the navy)
- Both kids are on their way out and probably into college or university (neither has worked a job and probably get a weekly allowance)
- Whole family is very well-off while not being classified as "elites" or part of the 1%. Could definitely be considered "rich".
A good healthy upper-middle-class!
I firmly believe rich people stopped having any sense of taste post 2010. Nowadays, interiors like these are ripped out and given the "dentist office" treatment.
White walls, grey "WoOdEn" tiled floors, no carpets whatsoever, more white light than a warehouse...Just grey and white...GREY AND WHITE.
GOD I HATE IT SO FUCKING MUCH!
@EldritchSheep East of Fallas Lake and west of Muldraugh, along Pony Trot Road. Sort of dead center of the whole map.

2 shacks, one with a confirmed antique furnace.
Hodgetts Farm from Project Zomboid!
A one-of-a-few small projects I have going on in between my Opal stuff!
A friend and I have our current base established here. Often when we play, I look around at the structures and think of how absolutely possible it is to recreate them in Hammer Editor!
Took a "few" liberties with the main house, as a few of the roofs, windows and walls, or the absence of windows and walls rather, I find horrific.
