During my campaign, I consistently pledged that I would support the Republican nominee for Governor. @MikeMinogueABMD will be our nominee and I support his candidacy.
I believe Mike Minogue is running for office because of a genuine calling to serve. Mike has the most impressive business experience of any candidate in Massachusetts: during his tenure as CEO of Abiomed, the company helped hundreds of thousands of patients and grew to employ thousands of people, ultimately being sold to Johnson & Johnson for $17 billion. Massachusetts is heading in the wrong direction and is last in the nation in job growth. As a proven job creator and entrepreneur, Mike has the experience to get the state back on track. I applaud Mike's commitment to serving others through his work in education and healthcare, and his support for veterans.
In the 40 days since the MassGOP convention, I've watched Brian Shortsleeve refer to the party grassroots as "insiders," "a clown show," and a "tiny group of people with a record of picking losers." This is a disingenuous flip-flop from the admiration Shortsleeve claimed to have for delegates during caucus season. Shortsleeve has run an overwhelmingly negative and dishonest campaign - including repeated, false attacks about my public service under a Republican Governor, as well as wildly changing explanations for his past political donations and party affiliations. Shortsleeve’s sole public service experience in Massachusetts - managing the MBTA for two years a decade ago - is not compelling. Shortsleeve has a decision to make about whether to continue his campaign given the lack of public support for his candidacy, but whatever his choice, Mike Minogue will be the 2026 Republican nominee for Governor.
When Republicans work together, Republicans win. When we win, Massachusetts wins. Mike Minogue is the only remaining Republican with a chance to defeat Governor Healey. We can count on Mike to run a positive, issues-driven campaign, which will be required to unseat an incumbent Democratic Governor. It's time to unite behind him.
@GuntherEagleman The last thing she says is "I need to see your ID."
You have to provide your ID to pick up your children from school, but don't have to provide your ID to vote for elected officials.
Marinate on that.
After 40 days as a consistent voice against shutting our government down, I voted YES for the 15th time to REOPEN.
I’m sorry to our military, SNAP recipients, gov workers, and Capitol Police who haven’t been paid in weeks.
It should’ve never come to this.
This was a failure.
Jimmy Kimmel lied about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, blamed him for his own murder, and mocked him on air. The line was crossed.
Thanks to FCC pressure and Nexstar and Sinclair pulling him from millions of homes, his platform is destroyed. He’s finished. Will never recover.
This isn’t cancel culture. This is CONSEQUENCE culture.
For Charlie Kirk.
I hope I'm wrong.
But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever.
Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past.
I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful.
But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else.
Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight.
But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds.
I hope I'm wrong.
@lizshrum@mamboitaliano__ Neither AD did! Good Jeans or Jean shorts are just that GOOD Jeans. Seriously walk barefoot through the grass…you’ll feel better.
Where did American Eagle get the idea for Sidney Sweeney’s commercial?
They copied it.
This is Calvin Klein and Brooke Shields in the 80’s
… and nobody freaked out.
@elonmusk Any CHAOS from these operations is direct consequence of the failed border policy of Biden letting 20Million illegal immigrants w/ No vetting No accountability No concern for public safety. The open-border was a slap in the face to millions of legal immigrants who obeyed the law.
