🚨💣 ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIĆ ON JULIÁN ÁLVAREZ! 🔵🔴
🗣️ “Let me make one thing clear: Julián Álvarez is not going to Arsenal just because Atlético Madrid are now considering the possibility.
If Atlético decide that Arsenal is the best option financially or sporting-wise, that is their decision. But Julián has his own ambitions, and Barcelona remains the destination he truly wants.
He has already made his choice. Arsenal may be a genuine possibility for Atlético, but Julián is not convinced. He wants Barça, he wants that challenge, and he is prepared to reject Arsenal rather than abandon his dream.
When a player knows where he wants to be, money and alternative offers don’t always change the decision. Julián Álvarez wants Barcelona.” 🔵🔴🔥
Glad that we're actually backing Álvarez, he's never alone and hopefully Atlético will make things easier for him...
This is just way too long, just grant him his dream
ARSENAL 2025/26: A SEASON THAT DESERVES FAR MORE RESPECT
Arsenal's 2025/26 campaign was not simply successful, it was historic. Across four competitions, we played 63 of a possible 65 matches, more than any other club from Europe's big five leagues.
Only the 1979/80 season, with 70 games, and 1970/71, with 64, have seen Arsenal play more matches in a single campaign.
And despite that extraordinary workload, Arsenal produced numbers that underline just how dominant the season was
♦️44 wins from 63 games, a club record and the highest win percentage in our history at 70%.
♦️The previous club record for wins in a season had stood for 55 years.
♦️Only Bayern Munich recorded more victories among Europe's big five league clubs.
♦️32 clean sheets, six more than any other team across Europe's big five leagues.
♦️Only Arsenal's 1970/71 and 1979/80 teams recorded more clean sheets in a single season.
♦️36 set piece goals, including 27 from corners, more than any other side across Europe's big five leagues.
♦️27 of those 36 set piece goals either levelled the match or gave Arsenal the lead.
♦️40 goals and assists from substitutes, including a club record 24 substitute goals.
♦️31 different players were used, with an incredible nine players reaching 50 appearances, something Arsenal had not achieved since 1979/80.
♦️Martin Zubimendi made 57 appearances, breaking Pat Jennings' debut season record of 55 appearances that had stood since 1977/78.
This Was More Than a Title Winning Season
What makes these numbers even more impressive is the sheer volume of football Arsenal had to navigate. We were consistently competing every few days, yet still maintained the depth, defensive structure and consistency required to produce 44 victories and 32 clean sheets.
This is why last season deserves more recognition.
Arsenal did not simply win the Premier League, they built the foundations of an elite squad capable of sustaining success across multiple competitions.
With greater depth, more experience and key players now fully integrated, the expectation should not simply be to replicate 2025/26.
The challenge is to take it up another level.
Ferdi Kadıoğlu: enquiry.
Lewis-Skelly: interest, but the price is a problem.
Balde: called for conditions.
Lewis Hall: too expensive, move on.
At some point, you have to ask what the actual plan is.
Manchester United don’t appear to have a transfer strategy. They have a browsing history.
There’s a difference between identifying players, making enquiries, checking conditions and actually deciding: this is the player we want, this is what he costs, and we’re prepared to pay it.
- An enquiry is not a signing.
- Interest is not a negotiation.
- Checking conditions is not recruitment.
- And walking away because a good player is expensive isn’t a strategy.
United have known the left-back position needs addressing. Yet instead of showing urgency and conviction, we keep getting updates that sound like someone is reading out their transfer-window homework.
This is Manchester United. The objective shouldn’t be to prove that we looked at every available option. It should be to identify the right player, negotiate properly and get the deal done.
Stop confusing activity with ambition.
Fans don’t need a list of players United have browsed. They need a squad capable of winning football matches.
A recruitment department should be judged by the players it signs, not the enquiries it makes.
Glazers is INEOS and INEOS is Glazers.. 🤦♂️
🚨 Rio Ferdinand on who should start as Manchester United’s No.9.
🎙️Interviewer: “Rio, who do you think should be starting up front for Manchester United?”
🗣️Rio Ferdinand: “Sesko has done really well since coming to Manchester United. He’s shown the movement, the physicality and the finishing ability. For me, he should be the starting No.9.”
“But he can’t be the only genuine No.9 at the football club. United have to think about depth because they’re playing Premier League and Champions League football.”
🗣️Interviewer: “Could Cunha be that backup?”
🗣️Rio Ferdinand: “Absolutely. I actually think Cunha will be looking at this and thinking, ‘Maybe you need to find another left winger, because I can be your backup No.9 if needed.’”
“He’s got the versatility to play there, he can link the play and he’s aggressive around the box. So if Sesko needs a rest or gets injured, Cunha can step in without completely changing the way United play.”
🎙️Interviewer: “So Sesko starts, Cunha provides the cover?”
🗣️Rio Ferdinand: “That’s how I’d see it. Sesko is your No.9, Cunha is your option when you need to change things.”

🚨Who should Manchester United sign ?
🚨✅OFFICIAL: All the expected “HERE WE GO” transfers of the week:
🇧🇷Gabriel Martinelli - Al Hilal✅
🏴 Liam Delap - Nottingham Forest ✅
🇨🇲 Carlos Baleba - Manchester United✅
🇫🇷 Bradly Barcola - Liverpool✅
🇳🇱 Cody Gakpo - Manchester City✅
🇪🇸 Alejandro Balde - Manchester..... love
Players arsenal tried to sign this season;
João Pedro
Kenan Yildiz
Morgan Rogers
Julian Alvarez
Vinicius Jr
They wanted quality but ended up with quantity.
Aston Villa is a team we all should watch out for this season, forget about the 4 nil loss to Brighton.
They will do good this season and with Nico Jackson signing I feel that's the missing piece of the puzzle.
We really got rid of Jackson and Delap for good in one season wow😊
🚨 New Netherlands manager Xavi Hernandez has now given his thought on balde decision to stay and fight for a spot at Barcelona
🎙️: I followed what has happened with Alejandro Balde these last few days. I want to speak clearly, because this is not just another transfer story. This is a boy from the house deciding who he is.
Alejandro has told the club he wants to stay and fight for his position. That is the right decision. That is the Barcelona decision.
I know this player. I saw him when he was still a kid with electricity in his legs and fear in his eyes. I saw him take Jordi Alba’s place not because someone handed it to him, but because he ran until the pitch belonged to him. In 2022 and 2023 he was not “a prospect.” He was a starter at FC Barcelona. That version of Balde still exists. It did not disappear. It got injured, it got interrupted, it got competition. That happens. What cannot happen is that a La Masia player walks away the first time the shirt feels heavy.
There is João Cancelo. There is a young player who started at left-back last weekend. There is a coach who demands one hundred percent, every day, without excuses. Good. That is Barcelona. If you want the left side of this #fcblive
