incredible! This highlights exactly the point that parallels the cry for religious freedom. Are we catching the message God is sending - that we need to step up to higher ground as religious people? A tyrant steps into a vacuum. In this era, what it means to be Christian, to be religious, needs to be strengthened and deepened. Is anyone asking God why a great Korean woman - a religious peace leader, Dr Hak Ja Han - is being detained? What she has been devoting her life to? What God sent her to Korea for?

Dr. Han wrote in her memoir: "I have always been saddened by the reality of this world in which so often husbands fail to honor their wives, and children fail to honor their mothers..." The Bible records that Jesus wept over Jerusalem, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes!" (Luke 19:42) Korea, once home to the "Jerusalem of the East" what has become of you?!

This is so brutal - especially towards an elderly woman. There's no concern here for Dr Han's health, life, or well-being. Most sorrowful and disappointing is the insensitivity of even other religious leaders in Korea, who could seek to silence the most pure and enlightened voice of their nation and this era so fraught with war, family breakdown, and environmental concerns. Holy Mother Han brings the warm heart of a mother to global peacemaking. Where are the peacemakers and sincere righteous people who will stand up for her and for God? This is a godless affront to humanity.

This cruelty reflects an utter lack of respect for basic human rights and a seriously flawed justice system in South Korea. Dr. Han is being treated as a criminal with NO proof, as many righteous and saintly people have been in the history of religion, and she asks us to pray for Korea! This is an urgent situation! An outcry to stop this barbaric abuse of a respected religious leader and elder in a nation that traditionally values family and elders!

Court Requests Health Checkup for Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon Following Absence Due to "Fall Injury"

After Dr. Han repeatedly missed court hearings citing a "fall injury," Presiding Judge Woo In-seong on February 9 asked her legal team to "arrange a health checkup and report the results to the court."

The judge expressed his intent to "accurately understand her current physical condition."

At the 10th hearing on February 4, her defense team explained that "the pain from the fall has spread throughout her entire body," arguing that "painkillers alone are not enough and she requires round-the-clock nursing care."

She was temporarily released last November for eye surgery, but her request to extend the release was denied and she was returned to the detention center.

Her legal team recently filed for bail, arguing that at 82 years old, after four months in a cold detention facility, her strength has significantly declined, her muscles have stiffened, and she can barely walk on her own.

Let us pray that she receives the proper medical care she needs.
