Lagway is paid millions of dollars and a new coach challenges him and he’s out? Lagway should be challenged when people have put their hard earned money towards his NIL. You don’t get millions of dollars to throw 14 interceptions.
.@chris_hummer with some great intel on DJ Lagway's departure from UF at @CBSSports.com
Apparently, Lagway planned to stay at UF, but his meeting didn't go well with Sumrall/new staff when they challenged him and asked him "what he's about" as a player.

I am cheering so hard for @OleMissFB to win the National Championship after all of this. It will be Pete Goldings National Championship, not Lane Kiffins. Leaving a 1 loss team for the “better job” and your former team winning a national championship that you can’t claim is pure poetic justice
LSU and @Lane_Kiffin deserve each other. This is the program that hired Brian Kelly, who literally killed a kid, let Ed O sleep with students and just settled a multimillion dollar lawsuit for sexual assault allegations from former players that Les Miles covered up. Not to mention, Les Miles was banned from being alone with female students 😅 LSU cares about literally nothing but winning and Lane is the perfect fit for that deranged fan base. I can’t wait to see how Lane burns that program to the ground
The crazy part of all of this, is that @Lane_Kiffin could *actually* win something as a head coach, but because of the drama that he created, Ole Miss isn’t going to let him. So if they somehow win the national championship, Kiffin won’t be there and honestly that’s poetic justice for Ole Miss fans imo
Lane Kiffin is “essentially demanding to finish the season (w/Ole Miss) while simultaneously threatening to poach” Ole Miss’ roster & staff if he can’t, source told @on3. “It’s unfortunately gotten even messier than expected as emotions are high”
My mom has always said, you take yourself wherever you go and @Lane_Kiffin is the perfect example of that. He is obsessed with the drama and destroys programs everywhere he goes. And everyone wants this, for what? As a head coach, he has literally never won anything.
I’ve met Napier several times, he is genuinely such a nice guy and I wanted the best for him. However, not giving up play calling at this point is an ego thing. When you’ve proven time and time again, you’re not a good play caller, and Florida’s record shows that, why not give it up?! He’s going to let himself and his entire staff get fired because his ego is so big he’s convinced himself he’s a good head coach and offensive coordinator. I truly just don’t understand. The defense is elite right now and Florida’s offense should be too but Napier is the reason it’s not. And if he’s not humble enough as a person to admit that/save other people’s jobs, along with his own, then he should be fired.
"Billy Napier really rallied that Florida team last season..
I was proud of the way that they kept fighting and I think people are really gonna fall in love with DJ Lagway" ~ @KirkHerbstreit#ProgrumSummerRoadTrip
