Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. @GvnMutula has reaffirmed Wiper Patriotic Front's commitment to building a united, democratic, and people-centered Kenya.

Mutula said that the United Alternative Government recognizes that the time has come for Dr. Kalonzo Musyoka to lead Kenya.

Speaking in Nairobi on Saturday evening at the launch of party leader, Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka's @skmusyoka presidential campaing platform, the Governor called on Kenyans from all walks to join this movement, contribute resources, and share this vision across the country saying it will create a brighter, more prosperous future for Kenya.

At the same time, he urged Kenyans to remain vigilant in defending the Constitution and demanding public participation in decisions that affect wananchi, saying sovereignty, democracy, and accountability must be upheld.

Makueni Governor @GvnMutula on Monday led the county health team in a consultative meeting with @NationMediaGrp to advance maternal health through knowledge sharing.

During the meeting, Governor Mutula highlighted the current state of maternal health in the county and encouraged the media to promote the replication of Makueni’s successes, aiming to build stronger national momentum for improved maternal care outcomes.

The NMG delegation was led by CEO Geoffrey Odundo.

Leading the way in maternal healthcare!

Makueni County’s maternal health model was highly commended today at the International Maternal and Newborn Conference in Nairobi.

​Delivering the keynote address, Governor @GvnMutula highlighted the county’s incredible milestone: achieving ZERO maternal deaths from postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) in 2023 and 2024! 🙌🏥

This life-saving success is the result of strong political commitment, practical healthcare reforms, and a community-first approach that emphasizes male involvement and family support systems. As the Governor powerfully stated, "Each death is a family permanently altered."
​By ensuring wider access to essential medicines and tackling risk factors like anaemia and poor nutrition, Makueni is proving that preventable maternal deaths can be stopped.
The county is now expanding its efforts to fight pregnancy-related hypertension to keep even more mothers and newborns safe. A massive win for Makueni and a model for the rest of the country! 🤱👶
