Torpids starts today - very best of luck to all of the @ChChBC crews who will be racing this week!
Take a look at the starting times and keep up to date with our crews' progress each day on the @ourcs website: https://t.co/bbfra4u6nD
M3 suffered a slight technical malfunction, losing a blade off the start. So after a slight bump, the boys will be back tomorrow to avenge themselves #heroesmustfallforthemtorise
The mighty W3 had a more tumultuous (phwoar what a word) expedition. Following a pretty beefy crab, they took down Queens 2 just after Donny Bridge #house
M4 aka The Boys with the Beers had an interesting start to their #summereights campaign. After chasing down BNC, they fell flat against Teddy Hall 3 a bit earlier than they would have hoped. Impossible for them to be bumped again tho! #footship
Congratulations to Christ Church DPhil student Naomi, who will be the next President of the Oxford University Women's Lightweight Rowing Club! This week she'll be rowing in Summer Eights with @ChChBC https://t.co/3ccUkFJsnl
And last but not least, the mighty M4. They may have only had 2 sessions on the water, but these boys will throw everything at it to get themselves into #summereights this year. Racing at 1515 #legitimatechchstudents
Next up is W3 who will be racing at 1440. Fun fact, if the girls qualify today, it will be the first time since 1991 that there has been a ChCh W3 in both Torpids and Eights in one year π #summereights
We are also proud to announce the Tethys Coxed Four to represent Oxford at the #HBR on Sunday 18th March 2018. We are hugely excited for the reserve race this year. It is the first time a coxed four will race, previous years having been a coxless pair #OUWLRC#darkblue
The @Savills Christ Church Regatta begins today! Racing in the university's largest annual novice rowing event starts at 12pm-best of luck to all of the Christ Church crews!
