SpaceX reaching $1T in annual revenue by 2030 sounds crazy… until you look at what it’s trying to build.
For comparison, Apple generates around $400B in annual revenue with roughly 25% net margins, making about $100B in profit each year. A $1T revenue SpaceX, with similar margins, could generate around $250B in annual profit.
The path isn’t rockets alone. It would require Starlink becoming a global telecom giant, AI growing into a massive business, Starship dramatically lowering the cost of access to space, and several entirely new multi-billion-dollar industries.

Earnings report 5th Aug 2026
👍 Positives
• Beat revenue and profit expectations.
• AI and data centre demand stayed very strong.
• Profit margins improved.
• Signed more long-term deals with big customers.
• Announced a $14B share buyback.
👎 Negatives
• Next quarter’s sales forecast was lower than investors expected.
• Consumer storage sales were weaker.
• Expectations were so high that even a strong report wasn’t enough.
Bottom line: The business looks healthy. The stock dropped because investors expected even better guidance, not because the quarter was bad.
