@alventura160@CardPurchaser If the argument here is against the generic "The enclosed authentic memorabilia is not from any game, event or season" I completely agree. Old School Donruss really did it right with the actual photo / date the material was used. Unlicensed cards? Completely disagree.

@AshtonEck8@PSAcard@natsturner Unfortunately 98 Topps Kobe autos are one of the more difficult Kobe autographed cards to have due to some of them getting backdoored unsigned back in the 90s. There could be several reasons they would have deactivated the cert, so hopefully they can help.
@NEOCards_Comics I think it has a lot more to do with alteration detection than authenticity. There are way more altered cards nowadays than counterfeits, although counterfeits are becoming much more prevalent with technology and a better understanding of the printing process

@cardkid@Topps@HeritageAuction The working theory is that while cleaning the plates during the printing process, the cleaning solvent wasnt completely removed, keeping the black ink from adhering to the cards. Several cards in the set have portions of missing black ink, not just the Thomas
