@JrManqba@soflotaylor@TheRyenRussillo@DraftKings The European mind can’t comprehend that NFL players are bigger and still faster than elite soccer players. But there is no skill in playing cornerback in football, point guard in basketball, or short stop in baseball so they’d all be screwed in soccer I’m sure.
@JrManqba@soflotaylor@TheRyenRussillo@DraftKings The US excels at every sport it emphasizes. Just look at the Olympic medal count. I’m sure soccer would be the exception though. Sounds like European arrogance to me.
@Tayler_P15 Seems obvious that Brunson’s strength and quickness gave the spurs fits. They couldn’t really bully him like they did with Shai. Matchups make fights.
@SethDavisHoops@jacobunruh The way this one play is scrutinized, you’d think it was the determining factor of a game 7, not a 20 point blowout. But it was the one play of the game that feeds the narrative so let’s talk more about foul baiting.
@NBAMemes Maybe the defender shouldn’t jump out of control into the shooter. This has been a fundamental basketball play since the dawn of the game. The spurs coach admitted his players needed to be more disciplined. Every player can and should do it.
@megynkelly@infolibnews Megyn’s career is always about her. From fiery daytime Fox News loyalist she earned the prime time spot. She became anti-Trump to land a gig at nbc and became softer and gentler. Then she went online and catered to the cess pool of groypers and charlatans. Shameful.
@TermineRadio Tanking is good for the league. Nobody wants to watch the playoffs with a bunch of mediocre players and lack of depth. Load the top half of the league with the best players and allow the bottom half to rebuild with young players who aren’t ready for prime time yet.
@SwipaCam Every team needs luck. Look at how the warriors dynasty was built and having cap space for KD. Look at the spurs draft lottery luck. Look at the Lakers lucking into the Luka trade.
@Exiled_axe You could argue the same thing for basketball. They have plenty of leagues overseas. In basketball, probably only around 20-30 players at the max get minutes in the nba in each draft class.
@tallen1984@TigersJUK Evaluation is much more difficult for baseball. Players “bust” more often. It’s easy to see a basketball player’s frame, athleticism, and shot and project them much easier.
@FTFonFS1@DannyParkins@getnickwright Who’s the better leader? Who’s more mature? Who is always a pro and in shape? Who has actually led his team to a championship? That has to count for something.
