It was an honor to work with Moe at the RNC. He was a good man who worked hard and always kept a great attitude and smile on his face. God rest his soul.
We lost a dear friend and colleague that worked at the RNC for over 50 years. Moe Middleton was an amazing man who loved his family and loved his work. We dedicated a room in his honor a few years ago. We will miss you Moe. Thank you https://t.co/Bb9TFr5Xwy
I absolutely 2nd this. One day I dropped my dogs off at the groomers in St. Charles & didn’t want to make the drive all the way home just to turn around, so I randomly drove up on Nixon’s & killed time while spending major money filling up my freezer — definitely worth the visit!
The US State Department lobby used to display the flags of the roughly 200 countries with which the US maintains diplomatic relations. Now, it displays 200 American flags, to remind State Department employees who they work for.
38 days until the general election and AES is no where to be found in Michigan.
Taking up a few meetings in D.C. 50ish days out made sense to me — schmoozing the west coast elite and not being in MI. asking Michiganders for their vote is unforgivable.
Disqualifying at best.

Michigan politicians aren’t worth one single damn — the lot of them
“Ohio and Indiana are eating our lunch here” - Benson, earlier this week
Benson’s running mate, Winnie Brinks, voted for the economic policies that led to this.
Why would we vote for more of the same?
If Marco Rubio does decide to run for president down the road, he’ll have the enthusiastic backing of people at the White House, where he’s a favorite among the staff.
He frequently roams around the building cracking jokes and chatting up junior aides.
“While no one says the quiet part out loud, behind closed doors many people are rallying behind him as the frontrunner for 2028,” says a Trump ally. “It’s not an anti-JD thing. It’s just that Rubio is the best person to carry the mantle.”

New state unemployment rankings are out today. Michigan is 0.1% away from being dead last.
In addition to affordability, isn’t this an issue every candidate should be talking about?
STRANGER THAN FICTION, Bollywood Edition: Stick with me and read the whole thing here, because it is NUTS.
On Saturday, Ted Cruz goes on ESPN’s College Gameday and gets roundly booed.
People try to defend Cruz by noting a bunch of people in the crowd seemed foreign.
Texas statewide political candidate Bo French posts a photo of a section of the crowd at the Texas-Ohio State game showing a large mass of Indians in one section.
Everyone loses their minds and starts flinging poop at each other over mass immigration and Indian assimilation.
Three days later, news breaks that NFL all-star TE Travis Kelce was scammed out of a ton of money by an illegal immigrant and Indian scam artist Siddarth Jawahar.
Siddarth Jawahar, an illegal immigrant, reportedly attended the University of Texas for several years.
And this is the best part: Siddharth Jawahar hired a political consultant named Jeff Roe to help him get a lighter sentence. Recorded jailhouse phone calls captured Roe and Jawahar scheming about how to manipulate the judge in the case.
Jeff Roe is one of Ted Cruz’s top political consultants and ran Cruz’s presidential campaign in 2016.
Truth really is stranger than fiction.
