The time to end the debate over which party truly supports combat injured veterans is now.
Republicans have ZERO signatures on the H.Res. 1247 discharge petition.
Democrats are not off the hook either. 157 out of 212 is not enough. That means roughly 25% of House Democrats are still missing while 54,000 combat injured veterans are still waiting.
We have no party loyalty. We have no patience left for speeches, photo ops, press releases, or “we support the troops” talking points.
Sign the discharge petition.
To the staffers sending messages because they are upset about our bold advocacy, here is the message you can pass up the chain:
Tell your representatives and senators to get their hands out of our pockets or grab a wig and pink tanktop.
54,000 combat injured veterans earned their retirement. Congress took it. H.Res. 1247 is the test.
Sign it.

Humble Appeal for Your Public Support of the Major Richard Star Act
Dear Ms. Ingraham,
Your program has repeatedly spotlighted the challenges facing American service members and has been a strong voice for honoring and properly supporting our veterans.
An estimated 50,000–54,000 combat-injured veterans, many of whom served in Iraq and Afghanistan, were medically retired before reaching 20 years of service. These men and women receive VA disability payments but are still blocked from receiving their full military retirement pay. This unfair offset continues to punish exactly the veterans your coverage has often defended.
The Major Richard Star Act (H.R. 2102) would eliminate this inequity without delay. Though it enjoys broad bipartisan backing, the legislation is currently stalled.
An active discharge petition (H.Res. 1247, Petition #22) needs 218 signatures to bring the bill to the House floor for a vote. This represents the most effective path forward right now.
We strongly encourage you to voice your public support for the Major Richard Star Act and this discharge petition on your show and across your platforms. Your reach and credibility could help break through the current roadblock. These veterans have waited long enough.
Thank you so much for your support 🇺🇸🙌💖
It is time for the Republicans to take action, not just make empty promises. Sign the discharge petition H.Res. 1247 today, on Memorial Day. #MajorRichardStarAct@HouseGOP@SpeakerJohnson

.@WWP appreciates Secretary Hegseth for voicing his commitment to support the #MajorRichardStarAct during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing yesterday.
It's time to #EndTheWoundedVeteranTax now!
.@WWP thanks @SenBlumenthal for his continued leadership on the #MajorRichardStarAct and for pushing to get it “across the finish line."
As he noted: “Tens of thousands of servicemen and women now are reduced in their retirement pay, literally, for every dollar of disability benefits they receive.”
It’s time to #EndtheWoundedVeteranTax!
