Pentecost is when we mark the birth of the Church and the beginning of its mission to the world. 🔥🕊️
Today we reflect on the moment when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus’ apostles and followers, as recorded in Acts 2.
📍 St Lawrence's Church, Evesham/Julian P Guffogg
Join us tomorrow at 9am for our Sung Eucharist or 6pm pm Thursday for our Family Worship as we celebrate Pentecost which commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit. All are welcome!
Today is Ascension Day - which marks the day when Christians remember Jesus ascending into heaven, forty days after Easter.
Churches around the country mark the day with services, sometimes outside or on church roofs.
