Captain Stuart “Stu” Campbell served the Town of Oakville with dedication, professionalism, and courage. Today, we gathered to honour his life and service, and to stand with his family, friends, and colleagues in grief and gratitude.
We were joined by fire services from across Ontario, with neighbouring departments, including Mississauga and Burlington, supporting operational coverage so firefighters could attend and pay their respects. It was my honour today to stand with everyone and extend my deepest condolences to the entire Campbell family, as well as the members of the Oakville Professional Fire Fighters Association.
Oakville stands united in remembering Captain Campbell, and in reaffirming our commitment to firefighter health, wellness, and the supports families deserve.
