@Willpa11 If he can lockdown TEs and RBs the way a CB1 locks down a receiver, I would take him over pretty much any defender. That is the biggest weakness and solving that for a decade would be huge. I feel the same way about Dean.

@WeekendMustach @_dandesp They made it clear Moore was a consideration at 23 and they wanted Carter bad in round 3 but thought the trade lost him. They still take those guys just earlier. Now if you’re telling me you want Humphrey at 23 sure I respect that. Either way we get a blue chip player.

If no trade they do Moore/lineman at 23, then Moore/Lineman at 34. 1st round 3 pick is extra, 2nd 3 pick is MC. 4th round is Sherwood not MC, late 4th where we got Sherwood was from Vikings. Only gain is 1 3rd rounder for a lesser lineman than AVT.

@RichCimini I was reading rookie rankings (for example the ESPN article) and AVT seems to be left off all of them. On ESPN only Moore and Carter got thrown in the bottom list. Why aren’t AVT and MC2 getting more press? I’m worried they won’t get deserved (analytics agree) all-rookie honors.

@GoldStandard824 @RichCimini Kicked does suck sure, but JD didn’t make that horrible decision to let Moore walk or not re-sign Myers. What kicker did JD pass on? And the defense played bad the first half you’re right so hopefully we draft defenders as good as the offense we drafted this year.

@GoldStandard824 @RichCimini Even if the only call they fixed was the one on Moore where they didn’t throw the flag we had momentum. We probably score there. The defense eventually got a stop on the next drive. If our last drive was 26-33 playing for the win, that’s a different momentum shift.
