Someone Called 911 on Two Brothers’ Lemonade Stand — Police & Firefighters Showed Up as Customers and Became Their Advertising Agency!

In Kansas City, Kansas, young brothers Jakahi and Perez Reese set up their lemonade and Kool-Aid stand at 33rd and Webster. A neighbour called 911 to complain. Instead of trouble, Kansas City Kansas police officers and firefighters arrived — as customers.

They bought out $280 worth of drinks in 30 minutes, showered the boys with stickers and support, and actively advertised the stand to the community.

The brothers have sold for years to support their family, help the homeless, and save for things like an e-bike. Officers even returned the next day for more.

A beautiful story of community turning a complaint into a big boost.

#Albuquerque Zoning is so wack, they allow mobile homes in the same block with fixed homes. Heard a horrendous boom an hour ago that shook my house. A mobile home exploded, it felt like something hit my house & I'm 3 blocks over. Glad no other homes caught fire.

@donut_uncle @USPS @USPSHelp I had to file complaint & my local PM called & he's monitoring it for me. Hopefully, I'll get my package soon. I usually upgrade my shipping so I don't have to deal with USPS. The vendor I bought from doesn't allow upgrades, so I won't be buying anything else from them.

@donut_uncle @USPS @USPSHelp Same here. Mine went from DFW, TX (passed me in ABQ, NM) to Phoenix, then to ABQ, 15 min. from my house & stayed here 4 days ( 5/30 - 6/2 ) & yesterday they sent it to DENVER! If you google what's going on with USPS you realized they're a hot mess systemwide.
