A meaningful and impactful day at the United Nations General Assembly, meeting with heads of state, foreign ministers, government officials and NGO leaders from around the world.

This year, I’m grateful to be joined by my colleague and friend Rabbi Mendy Chitrik, Chairman of the Alliance of Rabbis in Islamic States. For years, Rabbi Chitrik has been building bridges across the Muslim world while strengthening and supporting Jewish communities throughout the vast region.

And especially meaningful to have my son Menachem alongside me, watching the next generation rise, engage and take responsibility for building a better future.

[U.S. Senior Advisor for Arab and African Affairs @US_SrAdvisorAF]

An important and timely conversation. Protecting religious freedom and supporting Jewish life across Muslim-majority countries must go hand in hand with confronting antisemitism wherever it appears. Together, we can build a future rooted in dignity, tolerance, and mutual respect.

[Rabbi Mendy Chitrik @mchitrik]

An excellent meeting today in Washington with @US_SrAdvisorAF Massad Boulos.

We discussed religious freedom and Jewish life across Muslim majority countries and throughout Africa.

Encouraging to hear the administration’s clear commitment to protecting these freedoms.
