I have a hard time with mint prices above 0.1 ETH where 100% of the primary sales go to the founding team that hasn't proved anything yet in terms of if they can actually build a brand and a business. There are exceptions, but the norm should be 50% at least goes into a treasury.
And this is why working with intellectual property, copyrights & trademarks is a very tricky thing.
Which is also the reason ChainFights is making sure to have a written permission for all cards we plan to release.
It's a very slow and tedious process but we are on it!
Wizards of the Coast sent a very polite email saying they consider our use of NFTs, as described in the mtgDAO whitepaper, to be unlawful IP infringement.
They hint at their own NFT plans and ask that we don’t launch mtgDAO.
Here’s why WotC is ngmi.
Looks like now we will need to create Metaverse (M-Type) cards, too!

What could be their special abilities?
(Of course only if we get permission to do so!)
By the way, new $ETH based NFT card coming soon!
Another addition to our deck are these very cool @TheVisitorsNFT cards, which boost $MATIC and have the ability "Abduction" 👽.
Using this bonus removes one card of your choice from the playing field.
Love the super bright green color in these! 🟢👽🟢
Let's say you find the TECH stat of the #BTC card to appropiate so you can use your 🪙 to place a CFIP, a ChainFights Initial Proposal to change the Tech value of the #BTC card to a higher number.
The community votes with their 🪙.
Tokens used for voting will be burned.
However if a vote passes, the CFIP creator will get theirs 🪙 back.
🪙 used for minting new cards will be burned.
That's it for now, more will be revealed later. :)
However if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
But keep in mind, it's still just a concept.
