Thomas Jefferson who signed the the treaty of Tripoli was a skeptic. Of the 13 original states all but 2 required a professional of faith in their state constitution 7 of them required you to be a Protestant only before you hold office. Sounds like a Christian Nation to me.

John Leland, a Baptist minister from Virginia didn’t feel there was enough protection of religion from the government. That’s why there is a first amendment. Not to protect government from religion.

The First Amendment protects freedom of speech and the free exercise of religion was while prohibiting Congress from establishing a religion. The Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms. Its historical purposes include concerns about tyranny, self-defense, and militia service, all of which appeared in eighteenth-century discussions of the right to bear arms.

According to the Old Testament or the Tawrat as you would call it Starting at the first time we read of Rebekah:
Isaac's servant Eliezer asked her for a drink from the well she not only got him water but said she would water his camels. Proving she was the women he was looking for to marry Isaac. Now here is where it gets interesting.

We know by archeological evidence the jars held 3 to 5 gallons of water. Weighing 25 to 45 pounds. Eliezer had 10 camels. A thirsty camel can drink 20 to 30 gallons. 10 camels would require 200 to 300 gallons to drink. Rebekah carried an amazing 1,600 to 2,500 pounds of water down stairs to get to the water. Wells in Middle East at that time were not the fairy tale type. The whole town got it water there and water was life.

•One DOJ release covering a batch of Western District cases noted prior convictions among the group including aggravated assault, rape, aggravated robbery, and assault family violence, and stated the vast majority of these crimes were committed by illegal aliens found in and around Austin.
•Abel Alejandro Martinez Robles, an illegal alien from Mexico previously removed twice and convicted of aggravated sexual abuse, was transferred to ICE custody out of the Burnet County Jail near Austin.

Bible: The eternal, uncreated Son of God and God Incarnate whose central mission was his literal death by crucifixion—suffering on the cross as the substitute sacrifice for human sin—before physically rising from the dead on the third day to conquer death and secure eternal salvation.

Quran ('Isa): Strictly a created human being and mortal prophet who was explicitly NOT crucified, NOT killed, and NOT resurrected—the Quran flatly denies the crucifixion entirely, stating it only appeared so to the crowd while God saved him and raised him directly to Heaven—and he is categorically NOT the Son of God.

Biblical Trinity vs. Quranic Non-Trinity: The Bible reveals Jesus as the second person of the Holy Trinity (one God in three co-equal, eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), whereas the Quran explicitly rejects the Trinity, declaring God to be absolute, indivisible oneness (Tawhid) with no partners, offspring, or divine equals.

Actually the the rate of apostasy pretty much nullifies the rate of conversions. If you add in hidden apostacy (which is a Pew research shows is a real effect) You go from 23% to as high as 31% Also the the birth rate of American Muslims and will reach 2 or lower by 2030. As Muslim country become more modern the birth rate drops. Saudi Arabia is proof it is barely above replacement rate at 2.1 today. If the immigration laws remain in place by 2050 Islam will stop growing in the US and even out.

That really does not do any thing for your position. They still came in legally. You actually reinforcing my position. It shows that laws change. The reason 1924 law was enacted was the huge amount of Italians and Slavic and the US saw it was a problem and voted to change it. Same reason applies here. No racism.

The TPS holders still knew that they were here temporary. Working building businesses did not change this. It was not a ticket to stay forever. “They were legal last year” doesn’t change the law or it's enforcement. Slavery was legal. Pre-1924 immigration was more open. Both changed. They could have applied for a green card and started the naturalization process . As you stated they were here for decades.

If you arguing on the basis that the country of origin is to dangerous. They are not required to go back they can go anywhere they simple have to leave the USA and go to those countries that are better than the US. I have been told that the EU countries are much better than the US.

The Haitians status was for 2010 earthquake by 2015 the country had basically recovered from the earth quake. Hondurans and Nicaraguan are here because of Hurricane Mitch in 1999 by 2009 the country had recovered. The condition of the TPS was over.
