As the school year ends the Governors would like to wish those staff who are leaving our family the very best for their future. Danielle, Katie, Debra, Olivia, Miriam and especially Linda who is retiring after 16 years at LHS.

The Governors of LHS would like to thank all people working at the school for a wonderful year. Your hard work and dedication has been very much appreciated by the Governors. A great Ofsted report and wonderful SATS results have helped to make an excellent year. Thank you all.

Good luck to all our Year 6 students who are starting their SATS Exams today. A very big thank you to all the staff who have prepared them and everyone who will make the tests run smoothly.

Thank you to everyone who organised and supported the Iftar celebration at Laurance Haines School last night.
The food was fantastic, all generously donated and the hall was full.

The Governors of LHS wish all staff a very restful holiday and thank them all for their hard work during the longest term of the year. It is incredible how they keep their enthusiasm going and always put the children first.

A fantastic Carol Concert at St Michael’s Church this morning. The children were fantastic, full of enthusiasm and happiness. Possibly the best yet!
A big thank you to Mrs Makinson and all the staff for the efforts they put in to make it such a success.

Fantastic Christmas lunch at Laurance Haines today, children sang their hearts out. Superb behaviour and enthusiasm. Thanks to Candy and her team for the excellent food and to all the staff who helped make it a great experience for the children.

A very big thank you to all those working at Laurance Haines School. It has been a transition year with a new head and the Governors are very pleased with how it has gone. To those leaving, we wish you every success in your new schools.
