I've seen a rise of industry actors complaining that fans of music have also become fans of stats and strategy.
"Can we all just listen to the music?" they plead.
Well, look inward. Blame yourself. You guys turned tradecraft into ego-pumping, and strategy into marketing assets.
Fans were chilling when you started grabbing and sharing screenshots of "number 1 song in the country."
They were minding the music, when you started breaking down your rollouts with "Best Rollout of the year."
They were minding the performance on stage, but you kept screaming, and caught them on to "sold out!" as a flex and competitive metric.
They were scrolling for your songs, when you started hyping "monthly listeners."
Everything you term an impediment, which they now weaponise, came from you. You gathered them, processed them, shared it all, basked in the adulation and chalked it as you winning.
This is your Temu delivery.
You can still use the song, you just need the right permissions.

This company @swoopappng raised $7.3M to build a food delivery app, and decided the primary location would be Lagos, Nigeria. One of the few places in Nigeria with the highest rate of online orders, but also the highest rate of delivery problems to match.
And they decided that the strategy is to let riders keep 100% of the delivery fees. So now other platforms have to gear up, or they’ll take all the available riders. The more riders they have, the faster their delivery system will be, and the more users will want to use them. It’s tough but I believe that it can really be done.
Let’s see how this strategy goes
