Earlier today I visited the family of the 2-year old who sadly died in a house fire yesterday in Otjomuise.
This is the same family who about two years ago lost a teenage girl who got stabbed with a knife to death .
May God bless & comfort the family!

[Hon. Mensah-Williams @ChairpersonNC]

Today I took time out to visit the Gariseb family in Otjomuise who were evicted from their house.I assessed the progress so far while we work hard with the City of Windhoek to resolve the matter asap.
CoW has provided them with a tent for temporary shelter.

[Hon. Mensah-Williams @ChairpersonNC]

Today, with City of Windhoek, we handed over 18 toilets to the community in Otjomuise informal settlements.

With the continuing threat of Hepititis E in Windhoek's informal settlements, these new toilets will help improve sanitation are reduce the spreading of the disease.
