@airindiain Just off the return leg of this journey. Unresponsive screens, seats with non-functioning recline buttons, virtually no in flight movies to speak of, nobody enforcing the mask-wearing protocol, the same cold slab of cake served for both lunch and the evening “snack”. What a joy.
@British_Airways I have been trying to contact you on the phone for a refund of a cancelled flight due to leave in 72 hours but the call keeps going to automated messages and dropping off. How am I supposed to get my money back?

A gator that caters: A Pennsylvania man says his emotional support alligator named Wally helps him deal with his depression. He says the reptile likes to snuggle and give hugs. https://t.co/P5CJd24AlT #odd
Up for this in principle, but don’t see how the suggested tax would make the “ultra-rich pay their fair share”. Fair according to whom? The argument should have been the most optimal allocation of tax funding burden instead of fairness.
The ultra-rich have rigged our economy & rigged our tax rules. We need structural change. That’s why I’m proposing something brand-new: An annual wealth tax on the tippy-top 0.1%. We’d get $3 trillion in new revenue to invest in rebuilding the middle-class. Let’s make it happen.
What do people landing jobs in highly ranked leadership positions have in common? High network centrality - i.e., being well connected among their peers. Unless they're women, in which case they ALSO have a tight-knit inner circle of other women. [Thread] https://t.co/098pMc56Uw
